Exhibition and podcast series on Heinrich Schliemann
The online exhibition "The Stuff of Legend: Heinrich Schliemann’s Life and Work: Celebrating the Bicentennial of His Birth" commemorates the bicentennial of Schliemann’s birth (1822-2022) drawing inspiration from his vast archives at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens.
Correspondence, official documents, his published works, ephemera, and photographs highlight the depth and breadth of Schliemann’s public, professional, and private life.
